Activities
Rafting / Canoeing / Kayaking
The Arachthos River is considered the most beautiful rafting route in Greece, and with its routes of varying difficulty, it is ideal for both beginners and experienced rafters. Vertical cliffs, waterfalls, underground rivers and caves with nests of wild birds create a magical route in the heart of the Tzoumerka National Park. The most popular route is the one that starts from the Politsa Bridge in Ampelohori and ends at the Plaka Bridge, crossing the third navigable section of the Arachthos and perhaps the most beautiful in Greece.
Mountain bike
One way to discover the beauties of Tzoumerka is by mountain bike. Wandering through the villages of the area through forest roads, dirt roads and streams. Some of the most popular routes are to the pine forest on the hill of Faneromeni, to Profitis Ilias in Kostitsi, with a panoramic view of the junction of the Kalarritikos with the Arachthos, to the Plaka Bridge and to the abandoned village of Mega Ampelia.

Rope activity
The diversity of Tzoumerka offers the opportunity for impressive aerial passages (flying fox) and rappels from vertical high cliffs. Those who want to experience the thrill of aerial passage, just have to find themselves in the area of Plaka Bridge and using climbing equipment to swing with the pulley, which slides on an inclined wire rope, from one bank of the river to the other. An impressive aerial passage 70 meters long above Arachthos, with the speed constantly increasing until the brakes operate just before the trees.
